The Ashe Nursery is located in in Brooklyn in Forrest County, MS is needing the Seed Extractory North and South facing roll up doors to be removed and replaced with electric doors. Size of the doors are approximately 10.5'x12'. The Ashe Nursery Workshop is also needing two manual shop doors to be replaced with electric doors. Contractor shall remove/install new doors and conduct any additional electrical work or electrical box updates for these two buildings. Contractor will also be responsible for the upgrades to the 60kW generator located at Ashe Nursery. Contractor shall install an auto start/run switch for the generator as well as an auto switch that will convert the facility to generator power from the local power company. Lastly at this site, the contractor will be responsible for pouring an ABA compliant sidewalk that will connect the gravel parking spot closest to the building with the ramp leading to the office door. The Airey Work Center small office building is located near McHenry in Stone County, MS. The small office building is in need of renovations. Renovation items include remove/replace existing floor with tile or easy to clean alternative, remove/install new double paned energy efficient windows, removal of storage closet doors and shelves to make an open storage area with updated shelving, provide a wall mount and mount existing network equipment to the wall, install space appropriate mini split air conditioning unit, install 6 network drops that will provide phone, network and power to 6 socially distanced cubicles, furnish and install 6 socially distanced cubicles. Electrical updates should be included in this work and removal of paneling and replacement with insulated sheetrock should be completed if additional funding is available. Outside of building has tested positive for asbestos. Any exterior work with require abatement treatments. Turkey Fork Lake Day Use Area is located near the community of Sandhill in Greene County, MS. The newly installed aluminum floating fishing pier had shifted during one of the hurricanes last season. It has been determined that the spud poles used to anchor the pier have not settled in place and are not stable. The Contractor will be responsible for driving spud poles so that the fishing pier is stabilized. Should additional funds be available after the spud poles are stabilized the district would also like to update the Campground Bathhouse Fixtures by removing and installing new partitions, toilets, lighting, hand dryers, etc. for the Men's and Women's restrooms. The De Soto Ranger District is also seeking Gate Fabrication of 3 double gates. Gates should be built using the drawings provided, painted brown and marked appropriately.
