Renovation of an educational facility in Nepean, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
*Award amount is unreleased for publication. *Construction is complete. The Work consists of the replacement of flooring between Building A and D at the Woodroffe Campus. This path is heavily used for both pedestrian and materials management traffic. Phasing of work is required to minimize disruption to users. The existing flooring consists of various finishes. Some areas will go over existing finishes while other areas will remove existing flooring. Toppings, sub-floor work and general floor preparation work throughout must be levelled for a smooth transition between all new and abutting surfaces. New Flooring to be consistent rubber tile throughout. Contrasting colour strips at level changes top and bottom of all ramps. Scope also includes a custom inlay. The route includes flat, sloped (ramps), and a bridge that connects the various buildings. Miscellaneous metal work includes the removal and replacement of an existing guard.
