The work to be performed under this contract includes approximately 15,800 square yards of milling; 2,415 tons of HMA leveling and surface course, 1,040 square yards of pavement repair, 4" depth, ADA curb ramp, curbing and associated sidewalk reconstruction, and minor granite block curb repair, approximately 21,620 linear feet of traffic striping, 190 square feet of traffic markings, stormwater inlet repairs and upgrades and other incidental work along Rock Road. Plans and specifications and proposal forms are on file and can be requested via email or to schedule a time to view with the Township Clerk at ndigregorio@wtmorris.net Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including Non-collusion Affidavit, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, not to exceed $20,000.00. Bids may be submitted by mail, but will be considered only if received on or before such date and time. The Township will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded through the mail if lost in transit at any time before the bid opening. No bids will be received after the time set forth above. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Proof of Business Registration) and the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive immaterial informalities, and/or to accept the bid which, in the opinion of the Township, will be in the best interest of the Township, all in accordance with the New Jersey Public Contract Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.
