Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lindsay, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by The Sir Sandford Fleming College of Applied Arts and Technology ("the College") to General Contractors, PRE-QUALIFIED under RFSQ #ACAD21-08, to submit proposals for General Contracting Services for the Construction of the Aquaculture Lab at the Frost Campus. The Aquaculture Lab project consists of three (3) linked, modular prefabricated fibreglass portable buildings that will be used by the College's Fish Hatchery Team. A new concrete slab will be constructed for the new buildings complete with gravel and asphalt surrounding laneways. Coordination with prefab building fabricator will be required to ensure correct slab dimensions and coordination of project schedule. The interior of the buildings will consist of office, mechanical spaces, storage space and labs complete with steel stud framing, gypsum board and hygienic wall finish. The floors will have an epoxy coating complete with roll curbs. Anticipated Execution of Agreement December 1, 2022 - pending funding approval.
