Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Orange Park, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The Selected Contractor shall furnish, unless otherwise noted, all necessary permits, labor, equipment, and materials to complete the following: A. Mobilization/Demobilization, General Requirements, Bonds and Insurance. B. Contractor is responsible for protecting existing materials, structures, and equipment on-site during construction activities. C. Site Work 1. Site Preparation 2. Erosion Control 3. Salvage: Prior to demolition of equipment or facilities, the Contractor shall coordinate with the Owner on any Owner designated equipment identified to be salvaged. Contractor shall move the identified equipment and/or materials to the warehouse located on-site. Salvage equipment includes, but is not limited to (the Owner reserves the right to salvage existing equipment not identified on this list): a. 400kW CAT Generator b. 2000 Gallon Fuel Tank c. The owner will be responsible for the removal for use elsewhere or proper disposal of the existing fuel within the 2000 gallon fuel tank. d. Alternate Bid Item: 50 hp service pumps e. Alternate Bid Item: 50 hp Motor 4. Demolition as shown on the drawings. 5. Site restoration including sodding and other restoration. Contractor agrees to restore as necessary, any systems that might be impacted during construction. Restoration of the project site to pre-construction condition. 6. Proper disposal of excess and unsuitable excavation and removal D. Mechanical Work 1. Replace the 400-kW generator with a new 500-kW Generator including exhaust piping and fuel lines. 2. Replace the 2000-gallon fuel tank with a new 4000-gallon fuel tank. 3. Alternate Bid Item: Replace the existing 50 hp service pumps 1, 2, and 3 in Pump Building No. 1 with 60 hp service pumps including associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances. Replace pump no 4 (Peerless Pump Model 6AE14G) 60 hp motor with an inverter duty rated motor. 4. Demolish the existing pressure manifold system in pump building 1 and install a new pressure manifold system and piping in pump building 2. E. Electrical Work 1. Installation of new offsite well pump number 2 electrical and instrumentation and controls. 2. Electrical, instrumentation and control work shall be constructed for an additional chemical feed pump. 3. Install new 60 hp rated VFDs in Pump Building 1 and 2. 4. Install a new Fiber optic cable to the existing warehouse for future remote monitoring. 5. Install a new motor control center (MCC) in pump Building 2 with a PLC panel. 6. Install new electrical for the new 500 KW generator in accordance with the manufacturer's standards. 7. Electrical, Instrumentation and Control work shall be constructed in accordance with CCUA Water Treatment Plant Standards, drawings, and specifications to provide a functional and integrated new electrical system.
