Site work and new construction of an educational facility in L'Ile-Bizard, Quebec. Working plans call for the construction of a 10,800-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Construction of a new pavilion and visitor center located on the Macdonald campus site. The construction of the new pavilion aims to welcome visitors and further develop campus awareness programs such as educational activities offered to the public. The new center will be a place of gathering, education and cultural mediation and diversified services related to the agriculture and providing activities, conferences and events offered to the public throughout the year. The new building will house changing rooms, an interpretation center / classroom with a capacity of 100-120 people with multimedia screens, interactive exhibitions, a dining room, a raw food processing laboratory, washrooms, warehousing area, staff offices, mechanical and electrical rooms. TIMELINE: Working drawings are underway. The project is moving through the approval process. Timelines for a tender for the general contractor and construction are not finalized. Further update in late 2025.
