**As of Sept. 7, 2021, project was awarded to Howard Bros, Inc. for $343,777. Notice to Proceed 8/31/2021. In general, the work consists of abandoning the existing sand filter/private onsite wastewater treatment system (POWTS) and replacing it with a conventional septic tank, pump station and pressure dispersal area. The work also includes replacement of plumbing fixtures; plumbing modifications to separate kitchen waste from bathroom waste and installing a holding tank; electrical service upgrades; replace building wiring, lighting and switches; asphalt paving, restoration, erosion control; and related work. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. The MEPSubcontractor scope of work is identicalto the GeneralPrime Contractor 4 scope of work included in these bidding and contract documents. By submitting and signing a bid, B-5 1 all bidders have examined all of the Bidding Documents listed in the Table of Contents of the project 2 specifications.
