2021 Crack Seal Program, Part One (MR-2143) Pre-Bid Meeting Information: N/A The Contractor shall commence work upon the date stated in the Notice to Proceed, and will complete all work covered by this Contract no later than December 31, 2021. Time is of the essence. Accordingly, liquidated damages shall be assessed against Contractor, as stipulated liquidated damages and not as a penalty, in the amount of $825.00 for each and every calendar day the work remains incomplete over the specified completion time(s) stated above. The Contract Documents collectively form the Contract. They are complementary (but not necessarily duplicative of each other), and what, if any, Work exhibited in one but not in the other shall be executed just as if it had been set forth in both in order that the Work shall be completed according to the complete design or designs as decided and determined by the Consulting Engineer. The intention of the Contract Documents is to include all construction, labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary for the workmanlike construction of the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents
