PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and services necessary for design, pre-construction, construction, and closeout of the project. The project includes either the relocation or remodel of approximately 13 existing telecommunications rooms (TRs) and one data center to bring them up to the Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) IT standards while IT services remain operational. The DB shall provide a turn-key project for these rooms in accordance with VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT) and EHRM infrastructure standards. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 36.3 Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered.
