The Village of Candor, Tioga County, New York, invites sealed bids for the Water System Improvements. The work to be done under this project shall include the installation of new ductile iron watermain along various streets within the Village to replace undersized and aging watermain, improvement of two (2) groundwater well houses, installation of backup generation, installation of a new booster pump station, upgrades to the water system controls and associated restoration of all disturbed areas. All bids must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the amount of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. Any bidder may withdraw their bid at any time before the time set for the opening of the bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the date of opening, but may withdraw it any time prior to the scheduled closing time for reception of bids. Any Bidder requiring the plans be sent via mail, shall be responsible to provide a separate check of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) to cover the non-refundable cost of postage and handling (payable to HUNT). Any bidder, submitting a sealed bid, upon returning the drawings and specifications to DATAFLOW within 30 days and in good condition, will be refunded the $50.00 deposit. Any Non-Bidder will not be refunded such deposit.
