Work of this Contract comprises general construction of new water mains in three locations, located at the Town of Lumsden; and further identified as: - Construction of approximately 145 m of 150 mm HDPE DR 11 water pipeline including all appurtenances by HDD in 8th Avenue between Colbourne Street and James Street, OR; Construction of approximately 145 m of 150 mm PVC DR 18 or HDPE DR 17 including all appurtenances by open cut in 8th Avenue between Colbourne Street and James Street. - Construction of approximately 70 m of 150 mm Stainless Steel Schedule 10 and approximately 85 m of 150 mm PVC DR 18 water pipeline including all appurtenances by attaching to the side of the James Street bridge over the Qu'Appelle River and open cut on James Street. Material to change from stainless steel to PVC below grade. Above grade piping to be insulated and heat traced including portion of pipe below grade as per drawings. - Construction of approximately 105 m of 200 mm HDPE DR 11 water pipeline including all appurtenances by HDD under Highway 20 and adjacent oxbow. - Installation of four 150 mm gate valves (one at each of the following locations: 8th Avenue and Colbourne Street, 8th Avenue and James Street, north side of James Street bridge, and south side of James Street bridge), and one 200 mm gate valve at the Highway 20 crossing. - Installation of one fire hydrant in RiverPark Campground off Highway 20.
