The City of St. Petersburg is seeking qualified Contractors for the replacement of the Venetian Boulevard NE Bridge (Bridge No. 157186). The essential portions of the proposed work are summarized as follows: bridge replacement (FSB superstructure with steel pipe piles), seawall replacement, roadway reconstruction, sidewalk reconstruction, utility relocation, and harmonization of the project to the surrounding properties. The Venetian Boulevard NE Bridge (Bridge No. 157186) was constructed in 1957 and services Venetian Boulevard NE over the Venetian Canal in St. Petersburg, Florida. The 65-year old bridge has exceeded its design life and is experiencing ongoing deterioration of its bridge elements and bulkhead retaining walls. As a result, the City has programmed this structure for replacement. The essential portions of the proposed work are summarized as follows: bridge replacement (FSB superstructure with steel pipe piles), seawall replacement, roadway reconstruction, sidewalk reconstruction, utility relocation, and harmonization of the project to the surrounding properties. Reach Substantial Completion of all Work within two hundred seventy (330) calendar days, and Reach Final Completion within thirty (30) calendar days after the City's delivery of the punch list.
