The City of Fort Smith is desirous to improve the playground amenities located at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park with an emphasis on inclusion. The complete project under this contract will consist of the purchase and installation of playground equipment and surfacing. The site of the proposed improvements is a 20+/- acre park located at 1815 North Greenwood Avenue in Fort Smith, Arkansas Provide and install designated playground equipment. Inclusion is the primary focus of the playground amenities. It is understood inclusive amenities typically cost more than those merely meeting ADA regulations. Bidders should understand the term inclusion is not limited to physical abilities. This term should also consider cognitive, visual, mental, social, etc. The existing shade canopy shall not be disturbed during installation of the playground structure and surfacing.
