As of October 18, 2022, a developer has been awarded. Architect and contractor information has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Union Growth and Development Foundation (UGDF) is issuing this Request for Proposals to engage a design firm to develop design and construction documents and manage construction for the renovation of seven buildings of the former Farmerville High School, located at 300 Anthony St, Farmerville, LA 71241. The buildings have not been in use since Union Parish High School moved into a new facility in 2017. The total square footage of the Project is approximately 17,354 square feet, plus sidewalks, grounds and parking lots. UGDF has received a grant from the Economic Development Agency (EDA) for this project, and all contracts awarded and work undertaken on this project must comply with terms set forth by EDA. The contract awarded to the selected Design Team will be a fixed price contract. The Design Team engaged through this procurement will be required to provide a full range of design services for the renovation of the school into an advanced manufacturing business incubator, including sourcing necessary incubator equipment. The design must meet specific scientific and government standards, provided in A.2 Additional Design Considerations. The Design Team will also be responsible for obtaining Department of Defense (DoD) Clearance for selected parts of the facility.
