**As of Sept. 24, 2021, No Submittals Received for the project. The City of Tacoma (City) /Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU), Water Division, is soliciting a Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified firms to furnish labor, materials, subcontracting and supervision to
perform, troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, repair and other mutually agreed upon work on TPU's critical electrical and industrial equipment. A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. The initial term of the contract with the selected firm(s) will be for an initial three (3) year period with the possibility of one (1) one year extension. The Bid Bond must be executed by the person legally authorized to sign the bid, and must be properly signed by the representatives of the surety company unless the bid is accompanied by a certified check. If Bid Bond is furnished, the form furnished by the City and TPU must be followed; no variations from the language thereof will be accepted. The amount of the Bid Bond must not be less than 5% of the total contract amount; and, if shown in dollars and cents, the amount of said Bid Bond must not be less than the required 5%. For this contract the Bid Bond shall be 5% of the anticipated $300,000.00 total contract cost, (=$15,000.00). The required Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall be written for the full value of the Contract. Questions and request for clarifications of the specifications may be submitted in writing by 3:00 p.m., Pacific Time, June 30, 2021, to Doreen Klaaskate, Senior Buyer, Purchasing Division, via email to dklaaskate@cityoftacoma.org. No further questions will be accepted after this date and time. The City or TPU will not be responsible for unsuccessful submittal of questions. Written answers to all questions will be posted electronically No bids received.
