The El Monte Union High School District is soliciting bids for the following project: RFP Number 2021-2022(P6) HVAC Controls Project This is a prevailing wage project. RFI DEADLINE: Thursday July 15, 2021, not later than 12:00p.m.(PST) RFI's must be submitted in writing and via email only to Claudia Sanchez, Director of Purchasing, at Purchasing@emuhsd.org. No phone calls will be accepted. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, cashier's check or certified check for TEN PERCENT (10%) of the amount of the proposed cost. The Respondent's bond or certified check shall be made payable to the El Monte Union High School District and shall be given as a guarantee that Respondent will enter into a written agreement if awarded the contract, and will be declared forfeited, paid to, or retained by the DISTRICT as liquidated damages if Respondent refuses or neglects to enter into an agreement on the terms of the accepted proposal within fourteen (14) calendar days after Bidders notification of DISTRICT's acceptance of the proposal. No Respondent shall withdraw any proposal for a period of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY (120) calendar days after the date set for the opening of proposals. This RFP shall not be construed to create an obligation on the part of the District to enter into a contract with any firm or individual. This request is an information solicitation of proposals only. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal during the evaluation process without obligation to any firm responding to this announcement.
