No start and end date. The installation of two new booster pumps in the existing building, new reservoir overflow structure, and the recoating of existing interior piping and equipment. The work also includes removal the existing buried pumps, connection to the existing 8-inch main at National Avenue, and the installation of water main to the building. Additional items included are the related sitework improvements, piping modifications, electrical, instrumentation/controls, and other ancillary work required to complete the improvements. Bidder's Qualification Statement required with the bid. The Work, officially known as "National Ave. Booster Pump Station Upgrade," consists of construction of upgrades to the existing booster station building located at 16450 W. National Avenue, New Berlin, WI 53151. A.Work on the Project will be provided under a single prime contract.
B. When completed, this project will provide the Owner with two new booster pumps in the existing building, new reservoir overflow structure, and the recoating of existing interior piping and equipment. 1. Construction of the Booster Station Upgrade including the following:
a. New booster pumps.
b. New overflow connection.
c. Mechanical piping and equipment installation.
d. Instrumentation and control work.
e. Electrical work.
f. Yard piping work.
g. Selected removal of existing facilities.
h. Miscellaneous work.
