This Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP) is an advisory to the industry for the upcoming Stage 1 - Request for Project Pre-qualification (RFPQ) that BGIS will be issuing for a General Contractor to provide construction services for the Foundation & Site Grading Repairs Main at 150 Tunneys Pasture Driveway, Ottawa, ON This is not a tender. We will publish the tender details once they are released. The Main Statistics Building is located at 150 Tunneys Pasture Driveway in Ottawa, Ontario. The building was built to provide general-purpose office accommodation and continues to be used as office space including in the basement. Statistics Canada and Health Canada are the main tenants in the building. The asset is more than 60 years old and recommendations include correcting grading adjacent to the building foundation and repairing the foundation to prevent water infiltration and potential structural problems. This project will resolve ongoing water infiltration issues with the foundation walls of the building by exposing them, correcting foundation irregularities, waterproofing, correcting sub-drainage, backfilling, grading and returning to the original finish be it asphalt, concrete or sod. Work will take place in areas 1,5,6,7. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
