Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Orlando, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

District : 05 Contractor must be qualified under Rule, 14-22, Florida Administrative Code - Work Class(es): Smart Orlando Downtown Advanced Traffic Ops Performance TRC Members (Subject to Change) : Jay Williams Jeremy Dilmore Ryan Flipse Smart Orlando Downtown Advanced Traffic Operations Performance (SODA TOP) Deployment The SODA TOP deployment will implement real-time performance measures and connected vehicle (CV) technologies through the deployment of Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures (ATSPM), installation of CV roadside units (RSUs) at signalized intersections, CV on-board units (OBUs) on LYNX bus rapid transit (BRT) LYMMO vehicles, and Adaptive Signal Control Technology (ASCT) for grid timed signals that are compatible with CV applications. The deployment will improve pedestrian safety, transit reliability, and non-recurring congestion due to special events in the downtown urban core. The work includes furnishing, installing, integrating, and testing all hardware and software required for effective operation of the City of Orlando SODA TOP system. The Design-Build Firm is responsible for full design, implementation, and verification testing of the system at project signalized intersections and at the City of Orlando Traffic Management Center (TMC) and FDOT District 5 Regional Traffic Management Center (RTMC). This includes any TMC or RTMC modifications required. Contract Amount/Limit: $755,856.00 - Actual commitment and final execution of this contract is contingent upon an approved legislative budget and availability of funds. Estimated Contract Time: 360 Calendar Days Stipend Amount: $25,000.00 In accordance with Conflict of Interest Procedure for Department Contracts (Procedure 375-030-006), the following Firms participated in the development of the conceptual plans or Request for Proposal for this Project and are restricted from participation on a Design-Build Firm without approval from the District Five Secretary. The Firms identified below may not represent a comprehensive list. Firms not listed below who performed services or who are later retained to perform services on this Project are subject to restriction unless an exception is obtained from the Department. Faller, Davis and Associates Access to the traffic signal controller cabinets for inspection will be available during the procurement of this project. For Access to the cabinets please contact the City of Orlando: A City of Orlando representative must be on-site to provide access to the traffic signal controller cabinets. Coordinate with the City of Orlando at least one (1) week in advance to schedule access at: orlando_traffic_signal_construction@cityoforlando.net The Department has established a Contract Duration of 270 calendar days for the subject Project.
