Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Brunswick, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of February 15 2023, the project has received funding. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Lavender and Associates, Inc., as Construction Manager for the Glynn County Board of Education, is accepting sealed proposals from subcontractors for the Needwood Middle School Modifications and Renovations. Project renovation of portions of the existing building constructed in 1996. Work includes door refinishing, door replacements, hardware, new partitions, new ceilings, new interior finishes, new plumbing faucets and flush valves, HVAC equipment replacement, electrical lighting systems and related interior work. Site work includes new covered walkways and dumpster pads. The building will include accessibility modifications to comply with 2010 ADA, U. S. Department of Justice, and latest edition of the Georgia Accessibility Code. The Glynn County Board of Education and Lavender and Associates, Inc. encourages participation by local and minority subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
