Remodeling of a detention facility in Neillsville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a detention facility.

As of 08/23/2021 No start date and end date is March 2022. As of 08/17/2021 This will be awarded later this week. As of 07/26/2021 Estimated cost of $150,00 to $250,000. Clark County Law Enforcement and Emergency Management Committee is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the conversion of rooms to inmate cells. Bids shall conform to the requirements of the bids instructions and specifications/plans. Bids will be accepted as lump sum bid for general contract - general construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and sprinkler. Clark County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, and/or waive any technicalities. Work shall commence in Fall 2021 and shall be completed by March 25, 2022 The location of the work to be performed in the secured booking area of the jail. Tools and equipment will need to be inventoried entering and exiting the booking area. There will be a locked spaced to store the tools overnight. There will also be a staging area on the first-floor garage area *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
