The City of Decatur is accepting bids for the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment for the completion of road resurfacing projects within the City of Decatur. This project shall include grading, paving, asphalt leveling, deep patching, traffic control, drainage structure modification, signing and pavement markings, erosion control, and other items that may be related to the project work. McDonough St., between Lenore St. and Griffin Cir. - Patch 150', Speed Table N. Parkwood Road, between Coventry Rd. and Scott Blvd. - Patch 250' Kirk Crossing Drive, between Kirk Rd. and Dead End - Patch 75' Avery Street - Speed Table Ansley Street - Speed Tables The bid security will be in the form of a bond or certified check in the amount equal to or greater than 5% of the proposed total bid amount. The Bidder shall commence work under this Contract as soon as possible after the award and must complete work no later than 120 days after the notice to proceed. Bids may be held by the City of Decatur for a period not-to-exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bid and investigating the qualifications of bidder, prior to awarding of the contract.
