**As of October 13, 2021, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $876,713.13** The project generally consists of the installation of approximately 3,200 LF of 12 and 8 dia. DR 18 C900 PVC water main and approximately 150 LF of 12 cement lined D.I.P. class 52 water main, including valves, fire hydrant assemblies, residential service connections and all other associated work as contained in the Bid Documents. Bids and the Bid Documents must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the words Mockingbird Lane Water Main Extension on the outside of the envelope, and addressed to the Business Administrator of the Township of Marlboro, 1979 Township Drive, Marlboro, New Jersey 07746. Bids must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Township. All bids are to be hand delivered. No bids are to be mailed. Bids must be submitted in writing using the proposal forms furnished in the Bid Documents; this entire document must be submitted at the time of bid. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid, but not more than $20,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a certificate of experience and certificate of equipment. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this Contract based on funds available.
