As of November 9, 2022, a consultant has been selected. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of Baytown is requesting Statements of Qualifications for Professional Engineering services for the Cedar Bayou Crossing Corridor Study. This project will improve traffic mobility and reduce traffic volumes on SH 146 within the City of Baytown by providing an east west connector between North Main Street at Hunt Road and SH146 at Kilgore Parkway. The need for east/west connectivity was identified in the Houston Galveston Area Council planning study State Highway 146 SubRegional Plan, completed in March, 2018. One of the long-term recommendations identified the need for additional east/west connectivity between North Main Street and SH 146. The corridor study will identify possible alignments for future consideration. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject statements of qualifications. Firms will be required to furnish verifiable references with their qualifications. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
