Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Soap Lake, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This Contract provides for two (2) schedules of work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Standard Specifications: Schedule A: West Beach Park Access Improvements (TIB No. 6-E-865(005)-1) Schedule A provides for roadway improvements to 400 LF of Ash Street North, 300 LF of 1st Avenue Northwest, and 200 LF of Division Street North. The work includes, but is not limited to pulverizing the existing pavement, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, driveway entrances, curb and gutter, cement treated base, hot mix asphalt pavement, pavement marking, miscellaneous surface restoration, traffic control and all other appurtenances required to complete the work. Schedule B: FY 2020 Complete Streets Project (TIB No. C-E-865(002)-1) Schedule B provides for pedestrian network improvements to 400 LF of Ash Street North, 300 LF of 1st Avenue Northwest, and 200 LF of Division Street North. The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk, ADA compliant curb ramps, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, hot mix asphalt, pavement markings, utility adjustments, traffic control, miscellaneous surface restoration, and other work. The Work shall be substantially complete within 45 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Administrator, City Hall, Soap Lake, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the City of Soap Lake and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Soap Lake, Washington and the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The City of Soap Lake expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
