As such, for each calendar day in excess of the time agreed upon for completion of all the work, the Contractor shall pay to CRPD $4,500 per day as liquidated damages and not as a penalty or forfeiture. Such amount shall constitute the only payment allowed for damages resulting from Contractor caused delays. CRPD shall have the right to deduct the amount of liquidated damages from any money due or that may become due under the Contract. Award of Contract: CRPD shall award the Contract for the Work to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as determined from the BASE BID ALONE by CRPD. CRPD reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process.
