The major items of work include: Cleaning and televising approximately 1,500 linear feet of 6-inch, 30,500 linear feet of 8-inch, 250 linear feet of 10-inch, 900 linear feet of 12-inch, 4,500 linear feet of 18-inch, 3,200 linear feet of 21-inch, 800 linear feet of 24-inch sanitary sewer pipe, including disposal, bypass bumping, and traffic control implementation. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to ENGINEER. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the bidding documents. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and waive any and all informalities or irregularities, and the right to disregard all nonconforming or conditional Bids or counter proposals.
