Renovation of a parking garage in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
**As of July 26, 2021 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Bidders must have a valid digital ID issued by the Authority in order to bid on projects. Bidders need to apply for a digital ID with Bid Express at least 14 days prior to a scheduled bid opening date. Work consists of the following repairs as directed by the Engineer: Replacing defective plumbing riser(s) and horizontal piping Test and replacing defective fire protection riser(s) Removal of the parking garage exhaust systems that serve the existing busway Replacement of emergency lighting through the garage Replacing the fire alarm system for the garage in its entirety Various accessibility upgrades throughout the garage (door operators, tripping hazard, parking counts) Bid Guaranty shall consist of a bid deposit in the amount of five (5) percent of the value of the bid, in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer's or cashier's check. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond each for the full amount of the Contract price. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities, to advertise for new Bids.
