The Project or Work consists of approximately 9,222 square feet of renovation and 1,270 square feet addition with related sitework and site utilities, at HRSD's Williamsburg Treatment Plant administration building located at 300 Ron Springs Drive, James City County, Virginia. Work shall be as shown in the project Drawings and Project Manual. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid the wtp administration building houses plant administration functions and plant facilities maintenance repair activities. the existing facility was built in 1973. this project involves level 3 alterations to the full existing facility, as well as new construction of a 1270 square foot, one story addition. o the owner will continue to occupy the building and premises throughout construction. the project shall be performed in two phases as shown in these drawings, to enable this to happen. the contractor is responsible to coordinate work activities, scheduling, planned outages, and the details of work in each phase with the architectand owner's representatives, and enable a safe working environment for all parties.
