The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and project management to complete the interior systems and finishes at a site referred to as Wisdom Ridge as further described in the project drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents. Wisdom Ridge is an existing, completed, metal shell, light industrial building located at 5645 South 11th Street, Ridgefield, WA 98642. Bids will be opened at the RACC and read aloud immediately after the bid closing time for their receipt. Due to the state of emergency involving COVID-19, interested persons may attend the bid opening by using the cafeteria onsite. The District will set up tables and chairs to allow for social distancing. All attendees will be responsible for supplying and wearing an appropriate facemask. The District will make an electronic copy of the bid summary available to those persons attending the bid opening who provide an email address and will also post it on the District website. No bid will be considered unless it is in complete accordance with the instructions to bidders and is submitted upon the official bid form provided to prospective bidders (included in the bid documents). Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, excluding applicable Washington State taxes. Bid security will be forfeited as damages should the bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a contract and provide a suitable bond for performance/payment for labor and materials. All bidders must submit a list of proposed subcontractors whose work will exceed ten percent (10%) of the project, or as otherwise specified in the instructions to bidders. The Board of Directors of Ridgefield School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and waive any informality or irregularities.
