Site work and renovation of a civil project in Russell, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of replacing electrical, HVAC, doors, windows, flocculation and rapid mixers, chemical feed equipment (Lime Slaker, Soda Ash Feeder, switching from dry to liquid Alum, replacing Chlorine Gas with Sodium Hypochlorite) and new chemical storage tanks, replacing solids contact unit equipment with sedimentation equipment, structural repairs to concrete and masonry, construction of new motor support beams and floor grating, the addition of a new generator, replacing filter piping, valves and actuators, flow meters, controls system, removing three high service pumps, and cleanup along with all appurtenant work complete and ready for service, including temporary facilities as required and in conformance with the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Site visits outside of the pre-bid meeting will be limited and must be coordinated with Water Productions Superintendent, Diana VanBruggen at 785-483-7116. The site visit will not be available in virtual format. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with their bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the presidents Executive Order No. 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity) as amended.
