A description of the Project is as follows:Scope of Work: The Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, removal of the existing Areca palm screen hedge, including root balls, and replaced with a shade tree and hedge buffer based on the Town of Davie code requirements. Additionally, the existing wood fence will be replaced with a chain link fence of PVC coated, galvanized, steel wire. The trees and hedge will be set back 17-feet from the new fence, and the new fence will be installed at a set-back distance of 3 feet from the property line. New plantings will be mulched with shredded hardwood. Additionally, an irrigation system, consisting of piping system, electrical system, sprinkler heads, nozzles, drip components, valves, controller and weather/soil sensor will be provided to irrigate the new landscape.Location: Work is located in the City of Sunrise Southwest Wastewater Treatment Plant, 15400 Slydgemill Road Davie, FL 33331. The vendor shall have any of the following: Florida Certified General Contractor's License. The vendor must have worked on 3 projects over the past 5 years of similar size and scope and provide 3 verifiable references. The City shall be the sole and final judge in determining if the Contractor meets the Qualification Requirement. Contractors are responsible for bringing any required sub-contractors to this Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and to the Mandatory site visit. This site visit conducted by the City will be the only time Contractors will be granted access to the site. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based F.S.S. 286.0105.
