The scope of work includes the construction of approx 600 lin ft of 10-inch HDPE directional drill installed water main, 892 lin ft of 8-inch ductile iron water main, connecting to new 10-inch main across Mitchell River and 10-inch main beyond Mitchell River to existing 8-inch PVC water main, remove and replace existing hydrant, transfer of water services, abandonment of existing 8-inch main, 1,000 lin ft of low-pressure sewer, 2-inch isolation valves, sewer laterals, new catch basin and storm drain improvements. The Contractor shall be responsible for scheduling its activities and the activities of any subcontractors involved, to meet the completion date, or milestones, established for the contract. Scheduling of the work shall be coordinated with the Owner and Engineer. The Construction Sequence Requirements shall be used by the Contractor to form a complete schedule for the project, which shall be coordinated with the Owner and Engineer. All existing buildings, utilities, pipes, poles, wires fences, curbings, property line markers and other structures which the Engineer decides must be preserved in place without being temporarily or permanently relocated, shall be carefully supported and protected from damage by the contractor. Should such property be damaged, it shall be restored by the Contractor, at no additional cost to the Owner.
