Renovation of a fire / police facility in Halesite, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
All bids must be accompanied by either a) a certified check payable to the "Halesite Fire District" in the amount of 5% of the bid price, or b) a bond with sufficient sureties to be approved by the "Halesite Fire Dis-trict" in the amount of 5% of the bid price. . Performance, Labor and Material payment bonds on the forms within the Specifications Book for the full amount of the contract are required and shall be included in the bid price. The Halesite Fire District reserves the right to waive any informalities in, to accept or reject any or all bids, to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder or to advertise anew if in the judgment of the Halesite Fire Dis-trict it is in their best interests to do so. No bidder shall withdraw his bid within 45 days after the formal opening thereof.
