Estimate: $1.5-2.0 million The City of Justin, Texas, will receive sealed bids on the named project for the construction of water main improvements in the Old Town Area consisting of approximately 7,700 LF of 8" PVC C-900 Water Main, 300 LF of 12" PVC C-900 Water Main, 4 tons of ductile iron fittings, 72 service and meter boxes, 52 gate valve and valve boxes and other associated items. Bids for a Contract shall be submitted on the bid forms provided, properly signed by an officer of the company, and dated. A Security Deposit in the form of a cashier's check or bid bond payable to City of Justin, Texas in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the largest Total Bid Price must accompany each Bid. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject bids. This project is funded by a SWIFT Loan from the Texas Water Development Board. As time is of the essence on this Contract, the Contractor agrees to commence work under this Contract within ten (10) days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed and to totally complete the work within one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days after the date specified in the Notice to Proceed In accordance with Chapter 2253 of the Local Government Code of Texas, V.T.C.A., the successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds in the full amount of the contract
