As of August 18, 2021, the project has been awarded to Asphalt Specialists Inc. for $311,131.46. Bids are solicited on a Unit Price basis. City Hall Parking Lot (Project 1). Colony Court Partial and full depth pavement replacement of existing bituminous parking lot. Work also includes +-130 linear feet of storm sewer replacement, under drain installation, aggregate base replacement, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and ramps replacement, pavement markings and limited utility conduit work. Project includes three bid alternatives. City Parking Lot #2 (Project 2) Removal, replacement and grinding of various concrete sidewalk segments including portions to meet ADA requirements. Additional work to include removal and reinstallation of modular block retaining walls. Brecon Park Pathways and Parking Lot (Project 3) +-360 feet of new bituminous non-motorized pathway installation and +-250 feet of existing bituminous non motorized pathway crush and shape with bituminous overlay. Other work includes limited concrete sidewalk replacement, minimal drainage improvements and restoration. Project involves one bid alternative Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, money order or bid bond, payable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal, as a Bid Security. The Bid Security of the Bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the Contract by the Owner. All others will be returned within 48 hours after the Proposal opening The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond, and Maintenance Bond and in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract and satisfactory insurance coverage. Withdrawal of any Proposal is prohibited for a period of 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof The Owner reserves the right to accept any Proposal, to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any Proposal, in the interest of the Owner .
