The City of Phoenix invites sealed offers for repair components for bar screens utilized at the Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plant facilities. The City of Phoenix invites sealed offers for repair components for bar screens utilized at the Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plant facilities for a five-year period commencing on or about January 1, 2022. The City reserves the right to change dates and/or locations as necessary, and the City does not always hold a Pre-Offer Conference or Site visit. Bar screens are operated 24/7 and become worn and broken which restricts the rake from operating efficiently. The large drum that drives the rake mechanism is constantly exposed to moisture and will rust over time requiring them to be replaced on an as-needed basis. In case of default by the Contractor, the City may, by written notice, cancel this contract and repurchase from another source and may recover the excess costs by (1) deduction from an unpaid balance due; (2) collection against the bid and/or performance bond, or (3) a combination of the aforementioned remedies or other remedies as provided by law. Written Inquiries wsdprocurement@phoenix.gov August 26, 2021 2:00 PM Notwithstanding any other provision of this solicitation, the City reserves the right to: (1) waive any immaterial defect or informality; or (2) reject any or all offers or portions thereof; or (3) reissue a solicitation.
