Renovation of a transportation facility in Swan Lake, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

As of August 25, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The Base Bid generally consists of rehabilitation of an existing aircraft hangar building. Work includes removal/replacement of metal roofing/siding, installation of concrete floor, replacement of electrical equipment and installation of overhead door operators. Base Bid also includes underground piping for a future bathroom. Required piping consists of 4 inch sanitary, floor drain connected to sanitary, branch and stub up for toilet, cleanout in floor, stub up for vent and 2 inch sleeve for future waterservice. Bid additive 1 consists of installation of bathroom fixtures, walls, insulation, ceiling system, plumbing and accessories as shown on the drawings for an ADA compliant bathroom. Exterior sanitary and water service to be connected at a future date. Prevailing wage rates apply and Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. The project is sales tax exempt. No bidders may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the preparation of proposal. Sullivan County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids.
