The project will address issues with the smoke control system. The existing atrium requires modification. Modifications will include removal of the exterior storefront window louvers from the smoke evacuation e-powered system, replacement of exterior doors around the atrium perimeter boundary on all levels for type on e-power to auto-open for smoke evacuation, reprogramming and repairs to the existing won door and reprogramming to create smoke boundary desired on level 1 south, mag holds added to perimeter suite doors around the atrium boundary to auto-close, modify controls for shutoff of the existing electrical room fan in an event while equipment and louvers remain as existing, new beam detectors and a firefighters' smoke control panel. Estimated project duration is 250 calendar days.
