Renovation of a mixed-use development in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,650-square-foot, two-story above grade laboratory facility.

This project provides repair and renovation of approximately 14,650 SF of the first and second floor of B416. Demolition includes walls, existing mezzanines, finishes, infrastructure (interior and exterior), restrooms, common areas, labs and office spaces. The project will repair labs to house new experimental equipment, including electrical service, communication infrastructure, HVAC infrastructure and layout of spaces to improve efficiency of experiments. The project will also address accessibility and egress issues in the existing facility. The lab will be renovated to create office spaces that increase number of personnel and improve collaboration between programs. The facility infrastructure, such as HVAC, electrical systems, communications, fire protection, and overhead doors will also be repaired with this project
