Project no -FSUFT21004 Question Submission Close Date 2/18/2022 5:00 PM EST The objective of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to enable Florida State University (FSU) to enter into a purchase order (PO) with a Respondent to provide all labor, materials & equipment necessary to complete the reroofing of the FSU Montgomery South Wing, as specified in the Construction Documents. Montgomery South Wing is located at 130 Collegiate Loop Tallahassee, FL 32304. The project consists of the Montgomery Hall South Wing Roofing on the main campus of the Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. It is the intent of these contract documents that the Work result in a complete and durable reroofing of selected damaged roof areas of this building The Work includes but is not limited to: 1) Removing the existing roof system and installing a standing seam metal panel roofing system. 2) Removing the existing lay-in gutter membrane system and installing a fully adhered PVC hybrid roofing system over the gutter wood decking. 3) Pathing and repairing the existing granulated cap sheet roofing membrane system and installing a new fully adhered PVC cap sheet membrane and flashing recovery system. 4) Reroofing also includes but is not limited to installing new roof drains, enlarging, and installing new through-wall overflow scuppers, and metal counterflashings. 5) The clean, prime and paint of all metal rooftop access ladder and leg supports as specified.
