Comprehensive Land Use Planning and Development Consultant Services (Lead Consultant Team) Services for the property at 179 Green Avenue and 2872, 2730, 2784, and 2824 Skaha Lake Road, Penticton, BC (Site). The Provincial Rental Housing Corporation (PRHC) owns 2872 Skaha Lake Road and 179 Green Avenue W. in the City of Penticton. Recently, PRHC also acquired the 3 neighbouring motel sites, known as Meadow Lark Motel, Sun Valley Motel, and Mayfair Motel (2730, 2784, and 2824 Skaha Lake Road). Together, the land assembly totals 4.95 acres. The Skaha Lake Road Assembly is located at the north end of the South Penticton resort strip that leads to Skaha Lake. It is directly across the Peachtree regional shopping centre which offers retail and personal services options including big box retail options, restaurant, and financial services. During the redevelopment planning stage, the sites will operate as supportive housing in the interim. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals by BC Housing Management Commission (BC Housing) for comprehensive land use planning and development consultant (Lead Consultant Team) services, is closed. Project manager do not release successful proponent. Integrated Master Concept Plan: For Phase 1, the successful Proponent will produce a minimum of three (3) conceptual planning and infrastructure master plans. For Phase 2, it is intended that the community be consulted on the viable options developed in Phase 1 of the master planning process. Project may be updated when it has been approved to bid for construction. Further update may be available late summer 2023, upon approvals.
