Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Montrose, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a 2,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.

*As of January 10, 2022, this contract has been cancelled. However, the scope of work has been broken into three separate bidding contracts: 1. Blueberry Park Improvements Contract 1 - Sidewalk 2. Blueberry Park Improvements Contract 2 - Play Equipment w/ Safety Surfacing 3. Blueberry Park Improvements Contract 3 - Entrance Arch Signage Items of work include approximately 2,000 square feet of concrete sidewalk, play equipment, poured-in-place playground surfacing, benches, signage, and all related work. Bids will be accepted only from Plan Holders of Record. In order to be a Plan Holder of Record Bidding Documents must be obtained from the Issuing Office. To request an electronic or mailed copy of the Bidding Documents, please send an email to grose@fveng.com along with your company contact information for inclusion on the plan holders list. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. This project is being funded with a Michigan Department of Natural Resources Recreation Passport Grant. The contractor and all sub-contractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliot Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 2020 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), and Executive Directive 2019-09, as amended. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Montrose reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Montrose.
