Work consists of slope protection deficiency repair including materials required (exclude cable concrete blocks and pins) and sequence of repair to the bridge. This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials (Soil, #57 stone, Concrete, Geotextile, sodding, etc.) and incidentals to place cable concrete blocks with anchors to protect the channel bottom and side slopes of an approximately 1000 sq. yd. area of the Shingle Creek canal, located under LB McLeod Rd Bridge over Shingle Creek (No. 755800), according to contract documents. In addition, work shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials (Sand, Soil, Concrete, Geotextile, etc.) and incidentals to place concrete slope pavement to protect the side slopes underneath the bridge of an approximately 600 sq. yd. area of the Shingle Creek canal, located under LB McLeod Rd Bridge over Shingle Creek (No. 755800), according to contract documents. Owner will supply the cable concrete blocks and the anchors. Cable concrete blocks consists of interlocking compressed cellular concrete blocks that are bound longitudinally by galvanized steel aircraft cables. This system consists of prefabricated mattresses of 8' by up to 60' which interlock when they are placed side by side to produce a homogeneous erosion control system.
