Renovation of a municipal facility in Regina, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 29,062-square-foot, 17-story above grade municipal facility.

The City seeks a qualified general contractor to complete a defined scope of work required for the rehabilitation the City Hall roof. Work includes the following: - Remove and replace existing BUR roofing systems on the tower, air-intake and cooling tower roofs with a new roofing system that includes a sloped insulation package. The new roofing systems will be SBS system. - Clean existing roof drains prior to removal and replacement. Ensure that the drains are draining properly once cleaning is complete. - Infill abandoned deck penetrations. - Remove and replace goosenecks, chimneys and other mechanical equipment as required. - Remove and replace roof hatch. The existing ladder and ladder up pole are to remain. Reinstall maglock assembly. - Remove and replace smoke hatch and ensure proper functioning in relation to fire protection system. - Remove and replace cooling tower and fresh air intake guardrails and bird netting. - Electrical upgrades including lightning protection for the building. - CMU block wall repairs and painting. - Coordination with Highlight for removal of abandoned antennas and associated equipment. Not part of this contract. - Miscellaneous hazardous materials abatement associated with the work of this contract.
