Lump Sum sealed bid for Natural Gas Line Relocation on Bakerville Road Over Duck River. The scope of the work for this contract consists of furnishing and paying for all materials, labor, tools, services, and equipment to construct approximately 2500 LF of 8 high pressure steel natural gas transmission line and other appurtenances complete in every detail and ready for the beneficial use by Humphreys County Utility District (HCUD) as specified herein and/or indicated in the contract drawings. This contract will consist generally of, but shall not be limited to, the following items: erosion control, traffic control, construction of natural gas transmission line and fittings, testing, coordination with the Owner, property owners, and other contractors on site, purging and removal or retirement of existing lines as indicated in the drawings, surveying, layout, finish grading, respreading topsoil, and site cleanup. Project shall also include all costs of clearing rights-of-way and easements and for boring/horizontal directional drilling under the Duck River as required to construct the natural gas pipeline. Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for sixty (60) calendar days after the date of opening bids. ALL BIDDERS MUST BE LICENSED CONTRACTORS. BIDDER hereby agrees to commence WORK under this contract on or before a date to be specified in the NOTICE TO PROCEED and to complete the work within 120 consecutive days. BIDDER further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as provided in Section 14.07C of the General Conditions.
