Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Coos Bay, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

**As of Aug 27, 2021, Legacy Contracting Inc is the apparent low bidder on this project. The project has not yet been awarded . The anticipated construction to start around December of 2021. The Oregon International Port of Coos Bay will be accepting sealed bids from all interested bidders for the Coal Bank Slough Bridge Replacement Project located in Coos County, Oregon. This project consists of complete removal of the existing bridge, constructing a new railroad bridge, related track realignment, civil grading, and drainage work. The contractor will be required to perform the scope of work as more fully described in the Contract Drawings and Special Provisions. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Port in an amount of ten percent (10%) of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a cashier's check or certified check; irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008; or a Bid Bond as provided in the Contract Documents. All Work for this Project, including but not limited to all clean-up and demobilization, shall be completed within 180 calendar days after the Port issues the Notice to Proceed. In addition, there will be closure window with a maximum of 90 consecutive calendar days of bridge closure, which window shall begin between (i) October 1, 2021 (at the earliest) and (ii) December 31, 2021 (at the latest). The Port anticipates issuing a notice to proceed with construction on or about September 25, 2021. All in water work is still required to be completed no later than February 15, 2022. The Successful Bidder, at its own expense, shall obtain and furnish to the Port a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond for the full amount of the Contract price, in a form acceptable to Port. Acceptable forms for the Payment and Performance Bonds are included as Exhibits to the Contract. The Port reserves the right, in its sole discretion: to reject Bids which it determines to be non-responsive. Questions are due by 12:00 PM on August 2, 2021.
