The scope of services provided by the selected ESCO shall include all tasks required to design, fabricate, store, deliver, install, and commission a fully operational Heat Pump and PV system for the School. Any required ancillary equipment, such as security fencing for a ground-mounted installation, or access ladders for roof-mounted panels, are included in the scope of work. The scope shall also include, but not be limited to, securing all permits and approvals from governing agencies, all labor, taxes, services, permit fees, training, and equipment necessary to produce a fully operational Heat Pump and solar PV system. Provide and install all solar modules, rapid shutdown devices, grid-tied inverter, racking system, means of disconnect for all AC and DC components, and all other balance of system equipment, including conduit, conductors and over current protection devices required for a code compliant installation. Provide and Install heat pump and ventilation system in (6) classrooms and (4) other rooms. This solicitation seeks proposals for installation of heat pumps and a Photovoltaic (PV)system to be located on property owned by the School at 1611 Peninsula Dr, Arcata (Manila), CA 95521. The expected work product will be to remove seven (7) existing gas heaters, design and install heat pumps and ventilation systems, and design and implement a roughly 10.2 kW DC solar photovoltaic (PV) array that has a first-year production value of approximately 12,632 kWh. ESCO will design a system that will be interconnected under PG&E's current Net Energy Metering (NEM-2) program and be capable offsetting the additional electrical load from the heat pumps. The school has an existing 16.5 kW DC solar array with an existing NEM agreement, a variance from PG&E for a second NEM interconnection may be required.
