Prequalification is not required. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Furnish all materials, equipment, and labor for the complete installation ofthe New Electrical System described herein. C. REGULATIONS AND CODES All applicable national, state, and local codes and regulations specific to electrical power systems and installation shall be followed. B. SUMMARY Work under this section includes a complete system for lighting in the new building, providing electrical receptacles, and installing a new electrical system at the County’s herbicide building. Contractor shall have been in business for more than five (5) years. Bidders shall supply a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% ofthe bid amount. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% ofthe contract price. The successful bidder shall have 60 calendar days to complete the project. Time charges will begin either 15 calendar days after a “notice to proceed” has been issued by the County Engineer or as soon as work is begun, whichever comes first.
