A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work consists of replacement of approximately 1,900 feet of existing 8-inch and 10-inch water main with new 10-inch water main. This includes new branch connections to existing water mains, new connections to existing water services, and associated surface restoration. This work shall be substantially completed by October 29, 2021 and fully completed by November 12, 2021. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on bid forms contained in the Contract Documents. All contractors and subcontractors listed in each bid must be properly licensed in the Town of Lowell as a condition of being awarded the project. The Town of Lowell further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of the Town of Lowell or to reject all bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Town of Lowell or an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana.
